Kuching Image (2)

This is the second message that I wrote about Kuching Image. Perhaps you think I’m so kepo kepo (bitchy), but that is related to Kuching image!

Remember there was a procession about the deities on Monday night? I followed my parent there for watching the procession. However, I found there some more things that shame our Kuching image.

I was standing some way near to Kuching’s symbol cat at Pandungan and there were some Ang Mo (white people) opposite me. I’m proud they could have chance to watch such special procession at Kuching. However, when the procession was in progress. I become shame and sad of the reaction of the member of the procession.

The car shows was more than the festooned vehicles, and most of the car were our national car – Kancil. The different just the cars have installed with hi-fi. This considered as acceptable for me. But when the most I hate is inside the car. There’s ah beng ah seng, ah huei ah lian inside the car. Reacting like shit show off inside the car: smoking, kissing or hugging. Some more, there’re some guys flirting the girls that watching at roadside. Gosh, what is that? Where have our culture been? Come on, this is not western country but Malaysia! Such boldness and audacious action still unable accept by Malaysian ok?

Further more, those teenagers who joined mostly were come out for showing off: smoking, spoken some foul languages or playing. Dear teenagers, don’t you think this is not a right action for you? That’s really immoral you know? The procession was to show the respect on the birth of the deities. But I think all of you have misunderstood the purpose of the procession.

Again I advised to public. Please behave yourself for make Kuching become disgraced. Those temple in charged member and those who organised such public activities please behave your member and be polite. Your co-operation will help to enhance our Kuching’s Image.
