Wei Kiat birthday

Knew him couple years ago, he is comes for Sibu, 600 km from my home town. He completes his diploma at Inti Kuching at Sarawak, and his degree at Inti Nilai which located at Negeri Sembilan in West Malaysia. He then back to Kuching and started his first job at Kuching by as an Engineer at Jumsar. He had stayed there for half year and then he came to Singapore for his new life on March.

When I came to Singapore, he has few months experience at here already. His birthday was dropped on 5^th of July which 2 weeks after I at Singapore. Although Wei Kiat, Irene and Moon were working on that day, but we were still celebrate from him on that day. We were treating him for Zheng Fa BBQ steamboat buffer at Marina Bay.

We met at around 6.30pm at the Raffles MRT station and then again we took MRT to Marina MRT station and furthered our journey by bus. The steamboat restaurant was located at a beach side. However we would unable to have a great scene enjoying because of the beach side has been use for developing project.

With twelve dollars for each per adult or eight dollar per kid (drink is excluded), you may enjoy over 200 kinds of food. There are few types of meat with different seasoning style, some seafood that we frequently have, some other food that have been cooked such as satay, fried noodle, rice, kueh tiaw, fun fried, bun, cha siew and poh pia. The most interesting style for restaurant is, you can claim the live crabs or prawns and kill them by yourself. If you feel that is cruel, you may choose for the non living crab or prawn at the cool storage shelves. Of course, they are still fresh.

We thereafter left for Esplanade, me and Irene were choose to escape first for some reason and left Wei Kiat, Moon and Eugene behind. Guessed why we left them behind. He he.. We were trying to make him a surprise by buy him a cake! We have a accurate timing and we finally got a cake at the famous bakery- Bread Talk. We were then hiding at the Esplanade riverside until he came and sang him a birthday cake.

Since MRT will stop function at 12 so we were left at around eleven. We have a great moment with each that day. Again, hereby, a late birthday wish for Wei Kiat and a never ending wishing for you, wishing you all the best.

* Final conclusion, although BBQ steamboat is nice, but it is very oily. This is the most effective result. ( Thank for Moon as a model.)
